I haven't seen him much since the temple. I hope he's okay. Wolf and I talked about it. He said he'd watch out for him. That's good.

We talked about the temple and sponsoring. I think I'm doing something wrong but Wolf says it just happens sometimes and people go away. Maybe that's true or maybe I shouldn't try again. I don't know. I'll have to think on it.

Flower is getting stronger. She said she had to because she promised. Lion seems happy too the times I've seen him. People seem happier now. I wonder why.

I've been awake a bit more sometimes. Tusonee and I spoke a little. It's good to see him around again. He says he's glad to be back. Others are coming and going alot. There are more guilds now too. Maybe that means they've built more halls.

I should look and see.

He's very soft. I didn't know that. I thought his fur would be like the dogs the bandits have. All rough and wiry. It wasn't. It was very soft. Thorin said he's used to everyone petting him. I see why now.

The inn was quiet. Thorin said that's why sometimes he goes to Cerbies. I've seen people there too. I'll check it more. Quiet has different sounds. Sometimes I like that sometimes I don't.

I saw Daisy the other day. She looks good. She wanted some help with things so I did what I could. I hope it was enough. I had been in Cerbies before she asked for help but it was getting crowded and someone started acting funny. So I left. Maybe next time will be better.

Shirila was in the quiet dark tombs. I don't think things were going well for her. I hope they get better. Sometimes there are lots of people down there. Sometimes there aren't.

Scooter's fur is very soft.

I met someone today. Her name is one thing but she says to call her Bri. Her mother expected big things she said. I don't think Bri is very small. She seems nice. We talked about names. She talked about papers being fliers but then someone fly by overhead. I guess that's a flier too.

Jezzara was there. She was in a contest and is going to go to the finals. Maybe I can come see it. It will probably be very busy though. I don't know. I hope she does well. She was talking about papers and other things too.

Papers and people aren't always accurate. Sometimes they don't say what they mean. Maybe what they mean isn't what is real. It gets confusing. I guess as long as you know what your own words mean it's okay.

Fliers are confusing though.

I got a note telling me it was done. I'm glad. It's good to make sure things that should be done are done. She did it like she said she would. It makes sleeping and harvesting easier. She didn't say how much or anything like that. I don't think she will even if I ask more. Maybe I can help her some time and square up. That's important.

I went to the Inn and saw Waterfall. I hadn't seen her in a while. We talked and she said things that were confusing. Then she explained them. They weren't so confusing after that. Life has ups and downs. She didn't mean real ones though.

She said when life is up or good it feels lighter then air. When it's down you say that because you feel low. She's very smart. I had never thought about it that way before. But then she got more confusing. She said that they say ups always follow downs. So I asked if that worked the other way too. Travel is a good metaphor.

She talked more and said some people worry that the ups could end so they can't enjoy them. I would think that you need both up and down. If you don't have both how do you know where you are?

We both had to go. Maybe next time I'll ask more questions.

I saw Pearl again. She was arguing with some enchanters. I guess someone did something she didn't like. Jaltz was upstairs reading. He reads alot. I wonder what he'll do if he runs out of books.

He's using the weapons now. He's training lots. That's good. Someone got stuck in the woods and asked me for help. I asked if he could go. He said yes and they're safe now. I'm glad Flower introduced us. I introduced him to Ermin.

I finished the piece and gave it to her. I think she'll like it. It's baskets just like we talked about. She was standing in a crowd so I just put it in her hand and left. Sometimes it gets too loud.

The crags are open and light and I can see alot there. Maybe I'll stay there a while. I like the quiet dark too.

I met the woman who talked about the stories again. She now has ears on her pack like others have on their heads. It's very strange. No one was in the Inn so I went to Cerbies to see if anyone was there. Thorin was, but he was resting. We talked a bit. I had to remember all the words he taught me since she said she couldn't understand me.

It was hard to remember them all. I think he would be disappointed. I don't want that to happen. Maybe I'll talk with her some more. It might help me remember. Pearl sounds like him a bit. Not the same but like.

She said some funny things but she said they weren't funny. Then she left. I need to think about this some more.
